We’re constantly on the search for a solid suit. One that doesn’t slip in the surf or stretch out after one season. One that mixes into our bikini wardrobe seamlessly and that follows through with the promise of “swim”-ability. Introducing THAT suit….the bikini version of the Little Black Dress from Issa de mar.
Born on the North Shore of Oahu, and raised in a tiger painted ice cream truck turned mobile marketplace, Issa de mar has finally made its way to SWELL. For designers Marissa Eveland and Melissa Jasniy, surfing, sewing and creativity is as much in their bones as there is salt in their hair. And needless to say (but we’ll say it anyways), their bikinis follow suit.

Killer boots, man. Ever wonder how they got that way? If we’re talking Frye Boots, the answer is hours, upon hours of precise cutting, hand-stitching, weathering, dying…maybe even a run-in with a blow torch. A total of 190 steps goes into each pair. It turns out, they don’t just roll out of bed looking the way they do. To keep them looking their best, check out Frye’s leather care guide. After all of that prep work, it’s little wonder that these beautiful booties come backed with a warranty. Yes, a warranty, on boots. They’re good. Almost too good.

Wear Your Impact! New at SWELL, the Base Project delivers more than just incredibly eclectic cuffs.
They are cuffs that create jobs and invest in community development projects. Support socially and environmentally conscious style by sporting bracelets made from upcycled PVC pipe! Instead of filling up landfills in Namibia, Africa, the discarded PVC pipe is collected by local artisans, then hand-cut, carved and re-formed into bracelets. Genius. Inspiration for the patterns and designs come from the animals, landscape, rich history of Namibia; and reflect the traditional art of the region alongside the artists’ own unique vision. The unique coloring on the PVC, a combination of exposure to the sun, along with the rich, red-ochre soil of the region, gives the bracelets their distinctly natural look. The aesthetic is comparable to bone or horn, but no animals have been harmed in the process.
So you can do good, and look good doing it. A big arm party high five to that!

Step into your Summer skin with Mandalynn Swimwear!
Made for fun-seekers, sun-worshipers and travelers, the subtly sexy line makes a statement with lingerie-inspired cuts and trims. Rebellious, bohemian, and fearless – that’s the “MLbabe”. In fact, if she were a president, she’d be Baberaham Lincoln. A total babe, that is. Aside from the eye-catching silhouettes, we love that the entire line is completely surfable / swimable / wave frolic-able. Meaning that you can take your Mandalynn anywhere the wind takes you.
