I love overalls, I could live and sleep in overalls. There is nothing better than when I find a pair of great overalls that look even better on me than they do hanging on the rack. It doesn’t matter which brand, where they came from, or how old they are, they just have to fit me like they were designed just for me. Not only are these overalls the perfect fit, but they are jungle print. If you know me, I do not wander far from loud, fun prints. So my favorite print combined with my deep love for overalls, makes for a match made in outfit heaven. The great thing about overalls is, unlike dresses and skirts, you can jump and run around in them. These overalls brought out my inner tomboy. I completed my laid back look with a matching backwards hat and dreams of climbing around a lush jungle. Tie on some converse and you’ll be back in grade school, only this time you’ll be cooler. If you really want to get a little wild, I sometimes pair these overalls with a leopard coat. While that may sound too wild for some, my excuse has been that both prints are “jungle theme” that counts for something right?

Growing up I always dreaded going to P.E. class. Not just because it required physical fitness, but it meant I had to slip out of my cute, well thought out wardrobe and throw on smelly gym clothes. Still to this day I often avoid exercising just because I do not want to give up looking stylish for feeling comfortable when I go for a run or head to yoga. The greatest thing to me is when there are pants and clothes that are made to run and sweat in, but somehow you still feel awesome when you walk to the store in them or meet up a friend for lunch. These tie dye print pants not only make your booty look good while walking around, but they are perfect and unique for who don’t want to give up their personal style for a little exercise.

One of the greatest ways to have an adventure is to simply walk. It’s hard to enjoy the world around you when it’s passing by at 60 miles per hour. Sometimes in life we need to just get out and take a walk. Whether that walk is in a city, down a country road, or on the sand, few things are more enjoyable than truly stopping to “smell the roses”. Whether those “roses” are the smells from corner pastry shops, the rustling of flowers, or the splashing of tide pools, taking the time to go enjoy your surroundings is so refreshing. Getting to enjoy life as it surrounds you, not as you look on from behind a glass window. This past weekend I took advantage of my summer schedule to enjoy a hike in the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach.
