Florida Style Diary | Part 2 A Mini Travel + Style Guide with Guest Blogger Leah.

DSC_0944
Toward the end of my stay in Florida we said adios to the beautiful beaches and started cruising the rivers that run through all the homes and islands of Vero Beach.  As you travel along these rivers you find all sorts of unexplored islands and if you’re lucky you can even see manatees swimming underneath you! This floral print skirt was perfect for these warm afternoons spent by the dock. Maxi skirts always look great when paired with a tight crochet crop top, so I went for the halter lace look. And of course everything is better with some boots, especially these ones from Matisse. This look is perfect for water gypsies like me and is also a great outfit to have with the festival season quickly approaching! I plan on whipping this out again for my spring time desert adventures!

Mini Dressing. Style Post by Guest Blogger, Leah.

DSC_0236
I am a firm believer in the notion that a girl can never have too many dresses… There are so many different events and moments that all call for various styles of dresses. It is always exciting though when a certain dress can be versatile enough for any number of different moments. My newest obsession is this flowy mini dress from Somedays Lovin’ with beautiful bell sleeves. I feel this style of dress can work for so many occasions. This piece can easily be adorned with all different styles of jewelry to fit the style of your destination. Since I was going for a more relaxed vibe I simply slipped on a pair of western booties and put my feather headpiece in my hair to complete this casual, earthy/hippie look. The great thing about this dress is that I can wear it anywhere, but it still has more personality than a “little black dress”. While it could go anywhere, for this day I felt like a carefree gypsy prancing around in the fields with this perfect printed dress.
