A Slice Of Life | Sweet as Agave

sliceoflife-645
Succulents may just be the trendiest low-maintenance gardening item of all time. The cute little ones that look like flowers are everywhere these days, and absolutely anyone can take care of ‘em. Sometimes though, they aren’t exactly pint size Pinterest pieces… for example, the California Coastal Agave can reach up to an impressive 5 meters in height! Agave isn’t just for tequila, soothing sun burns, or sweetening your coffee… It also makes for a super rad background in pictures. Processed with VSCOcam with lv03 preset

She told me she was holding onto all the items because the trends would roll back around, and I could be retro-chic. Sure enough, all of the vintage pieces fit into modern day styles. Starting in high school, I would wear her weird/cool stuff everywhere, and since her name is Janet, we call them Jan-Me-Downs! My favorite Jan-Me-Down is a black concho hat from the late 1980s.
