Yep, your favorite elementary school trend is back in full force… no, not slap bracelets (remember those?)… but overalls! Wear ‘em with a floppy hat over a crop tee, a bikini top, a bodysuit, or anything really, because no matter what, you’re guaranteed to look pretty dang adorable.

As soon as the 4th of July comes around I am always too busy at the beach, buying fireworks, and finding a way to stop by every fun party happening in that one day, that the choosing of my outfit is pushed back until the night before. I am always a bit disappointed afterwards, wishing I would’ve put more style into my fourth outfit. This year I was determined to get a head start on my 4th of July getup and pick clothes that are not only stars and stripes, but can be worn for all the summer adventures to come soon after.
Pack it up, pack it in…
The Bikini Truck is back on the road and headed for Coachella! What’s at the top of the festival packing list this year? Read on to see what made the cut… (more…)
I love overalls, I could live and sleep in overalls. There is nothing better than when I find a pair of great overalls that look even better on me than they do hanging on the rack. It doesn’t matter which brand, where they came from, or how old they are, they just have to fit me like they were designed just for me. Not only are these overalls the perfect fit, but they are jungle print. If you know me, I do not wander far from loud, fun prints. So my favorite print combined with my deep love for overalls, makes for a match made in outfit heaven. The great thing about overalls is, unlike dresses and skirts, you can jump and run around in them. These overalls brought out my inner tomboy. I completed my laid back look with a matching backwards hat and dreams of climbing around a lush jungle. Tie on some converse and you’ll be back in grade school, only this time you’ll be cooler. If you really want to get a little wild, I sometimes pair these overalls with a leopard coat. While that may sound too wild for some, my excuse has been that both prints are “jungle theme” that counts for something right?
