Slice of Life | Mix It Up Guest Series by Stephanie Schechter

Life is all about taking risks – including fashion choices! This summer, bright and bold prints are very in, and there is no harm in mixing them up. While clashing prints is an unconventional concept, it can totally work with the right patterns, and the right attitude! Don’t be afraid to get creative; you’ll stand out for all the right reasons.

We should all learn to love the mini dress. With all the parties, weddings, events, and especially the holidays I can’t seem to get enough mini dresses in my closet to wear as I go to all of these fun festivities. As early holiday celebrations and parties are coming quick, I picked out this perfect mini dress to kick off the first of many get-togethers. This dress is so light and lovely with buttons around your wrists and a low back to make this colorful dress even more exciting. I paired it with some black booties, but was also tempted to slip on some platforms and make it even more fancy. I also can’t get over the amazing colors of this dress… the dreamy sherbet colored sky even decided to match it.
