Castle On The Beach

indah dress
My love for teepees started when I was a young girl. As far back as I can remember, if the surf was good and the sun was out, my dad would take my sister and I out of school a little early and drive us down to the beach. He would run into the water for a surf and leave the two of us to explore the untouched coastline. This particular beach break washed ashore various types of driftwood and pieces of bamboo. We would then spend the afternoon collecting, planning, and engineering the perfect teepee. Once built, it would turn into our own castle on the beach where we could sit and watch the crashing waves. I guess I never gave up this love for my little fort and so recently I created my very own teepee that I bring with me to the beach – it is quite humorous watching how people respond to me building a teepee on the beach. This past week, I wore this fun maxi dress on my teepee adventures and blinged it out with these amazing bracelets and necklace. This getup is perfect for any upcoming summer weddings, parties, or if you are just in need of a moment of peace, and decide to go sit in a teepee like me.
