Spring has finally sprung and it is time to bust out cute sandals and flowing tops! There are 5 staples every girl should have their closet for spring that will definitely carry over to summer chic.

1. A Sheer and Simple Tunic Top or Dress
A perfect add to your spring wardrobe. It’s light, flowey, and a extremely versatile. You can wear it as a dress, top it with leggings or even a cute pair of skinny jeans.

It is obvious that bikini’s in general are a girl’s spring/summer staple. We basically live in them and wear them more than any other piece of clothing! But unlike a standard black string bikini, every girl will need something a bit girlier and flirtier for these upcoming months!

Fantasy Surfer – Swell’s Company Challenge

The 50th annual Bells Beach Pro is into the elimination rounds, which means the fantasy surfer results test your nerves, and so does the trash talk.

The Game: Pick the highest scoring team of 8 surfers in a given contest on a budget.
The Challenge: Inflict the harshest punishment for the person with the lowest scoring team.

The Swell Fantasy Surfer office competition is not the typical fantasy sports wager. There’s no high-dollar pool, instead we go for humiliation and gut busting bets. It’s usually a damn competitive field since most of us have surfed the spots on the tour, and scores are usually in the 800pt range. This month, some of the boys backed out of the deal due to intensified wagering involving: Beer bonging a Four-Loco out of a odd shaped funnel aka “The Dong-Bong”, and some other side-bets that the dads is the office couldn’t stomach. We saw it fit to keep it filthy as not to look like some gambling sports fanatics.

Here’s three guys’ teams ready to endure the office challenge.

Bill’s Strategy: “Frick.. besides being sexy as hell.. Kelly’s moves are getting better with age.. I mean jimmeny christmas he’s my man!”

Morgan’s Strategy: “My fellow goofy-footers are under-rated at right points. Like Wilco, his blading skills are going to give him the edge”

Dave’s Strategy: “Pick surfers who ride for the event sponsor. Everyone knows they’re in bed with the judges”

LOVE IT OR HATE IT???

There are so many trends out there girls love that may raise an eyebrow of confusion for guys. We may get compliments from other stylish chicks, or metro guys on how we have such cool style. Personally I find it most flattering when a girl with awesome style or my hairdresser Eduardo notices my new bag, or nude color wedges.

But I wanted to see what a typical guy thinks about some of these “iffy” trends out there. So here it is, my completely unscientific survey of the loves and hates from the other gender. Quite fascinating, but the guys at Swell were quite in tune with all these trends and had some strong emotional reactions to them.

1. Oversized button up shirts: LOVE IT
2. Boyfriend Jeans: LOVE IT
3. High Waisted denim: LOATHE IT
4. Maxi dresses: LOVE IT, BUT PREFER SHORT SKIRTS
5. One piece swim suit: LOVE IT, BUT PREFER 2 PIECE
6. Top bun hair style: EHH, INDIFFERENT
7. Combat boots: SCARED OF IT
