What’s new with the San Clemente High School Surf Team…VICTORY!

“This morning at T-street the San Clemente Tritons and Newport Harbor Sailor’s met for the second time this season in a match-up that would help determine the Leage Champions. The last match was won by the Sailor’s 94-74 up in Newport. There was plenty of swell on tap for the competition with the best surf showing up in the Men’s longboard heat. In that heat the Triton surfers, Nick Hagen, Dennis White and Eli Gillis recorded the only clean sweep of the morning. The rest of the Tritons also dominated by winning every heat. The Tritons had a commanding lead half way through and never looked back. The final score San Clemente 103 Newport Harbor 65. It was a great team victory by everyone! Up next for the Triton’s, a contest against Aliso on Friday and then the League Individuals next week at Upper Trestles.”
