Premiere Night: Ammo & Shoot the Moon

As summer winds down, September generally marks the beginning of Snowboard movie premieres. Film crews all over the world spent countless hours shooting, editing, and gettin’ down last season so that those of us who crave the snow can get amped for this one. Last night ThirtyTwo and Etnies hosted their movie screening of AMMO and Shoot The Moon at their headquarters in Forest Ranch, CA. A crowd of about 150 frothing spectators gathered around the makeshift, concrete viewing screen on the side of the HQ building to cheer and laugh at yet another successful snowboarding video.

These gatherings always seem to bring out the true culture of snowboarding. With free taco’s to feed the grungy mob, complimentary PBR’s for those old enough to get past security, and several overcrowded skate ramps as the backdrop, the event was a great place to watch some shredding and rub elbows with both the pro’s and the industry vets of snowboarding.
