Photo Tip: Kelsey Finn

Photo Tip of the Week from photo contributor, Kelsey Finn…
One big mistake I learned the hard way – never leave your water housing out in the direct sun/heat. One day I went on a paddle boarding adventure and kept my camera in it’s housing on top of my board, lens side up, in the sun, When I jumped in the water to take some photos, condensation had build up, fogging my port and blurring every photo I tried to take. The natural moisture in the air gets trapped inside the housing, and when left in the sun, it will cause the moisture to bead. If you are planning on leaving your housing out and do not have shade for it, place a cool, wet towel on it!
