It’s been a career year for Domenic Mosquiera. After making the finals for the Follow the Light Foundation Surf Photography Grant and being featured in countless publications with his watershots at Teahupo’o, he’s headed to Hawaii’s North Shore to capture the world title race at Pipemasters and posting up at Jamie O’Brien house to capture epic JOB free-surf sessions.
My weapon of choice is a Dale Kobetich housing for my Canon Mark IV. Dale has been making my housings for 3 years now and has become a good friend. His craftsmanship is amazing and we all owe him for his developments in pistol grip housing technology.
Mounted on the housing standard fisheye port (Canon 8-15), beside it is the large dome for those great over-under shots, then there’s my small 50mm port and then my larger zoom gear 70-200 when I sit a bit further away and adjust the distance to my subject.
Still working up to a pro housing? Grab a GoPro for hi-def water angles.
