Road trip! After a month of talking about festival style, a week or so of making tough choices about what is actually going into the travel bag (see what made the cut – Music Festival Packing List), and the obligatory refreshment stop at Stagecoach, palm trees and pools are finally in sight.
Ahhh…the road to Coachella: where fringe flows freely and flower crowns brighten up every roadside pit stop.

Finally off to Weekend 2 of Coachella! The bag are packed (it’s true – see the Festival Packing List). Sunglasses, check. Cut-off denim, check. Swimsuits, quintuple check. The only thing missing? Fringe. To top of the festival looks, this week’s tee DIY comes in the form of a 20-minute fringe vest.

Go take a hike. No, it’s not an insult, it’s something you really should think of doing often. Rain or shine. Hot or cold. Up a mountain or around a lake. Think of it as cardio with a rather sweet reward. You get to be outside, you have a feeling of accomplishment, and, if you are like me on this particular day in Kauai…you’ll have a view and a few pics you will never forget. And sore legs the next day.
