New at SWELL: RES Denim

res-645
Classic construction meets innovation in Australian-born denim brand, RES. Expertly crafted, RES jeans are like your best-ever vintage denim find, but cut to flatter modern body types. So pretty much the denim of your indigo-dyed dreams.
Our ultimate fit: the Kitty Skinny. It’s not too high, not too low, and ultra fitted. An added bonus, unlike most stretch denim, RES doesn’t stretch out, so it’ll never leave you hanging with saggy knees and a slipping waistline. Zero stretch-out and a jegging-like fit make this pair the perfect wear-everywhere pair.
Check out who else loves rocking their RES… (more…)

If a suit does not properly fit one’s body it will likely leak or constrict blood flow. Wetsuits should fit snuggly but you shouldn’t feel like you can’t breathe. I recommend spending the extra dough to get a good fullsuit because staying warm is one of the most important factors of cold-water surfing. Suits often go on sale at the end of the season, so keep your eye out for some deals. I’ve reviewed a few wetsuits from SWELL’s gear shop that are good for a variety of water temps. Read on to see what I thought of them…

…it’s what your shades should be doing on the off season. Instead of banishing them to the bench – hiding them in a heap in your closet, or stashing them in the junk drawer, show those shades off. The 30 second solution: an old bike wheel. (more…)
