As I’ve gotten to peek into all the summer collections headed our way, it’s obvious that we all are embracing prints a little more this season. From animal prints that remind you of African safaris, to vintage Hawaiian prints and colors that make you wish you had a mango and coconut in hand, there’s a print for everyone. And if fun prints don’t make you happy, then pom pom shorts will… but the combo of these two screams salty hair, sand everywhere, and no worries or a care. I wore mine with a crop top and a simple necklace. They are a perfect summer staple and a good pair of shorts to own and mix in with all the denim cutoffs I will be wearing this summer. Pom pom shorts and happy prints make me smile.

Summer always gives us hints of its arrival. The sun peers through the windows earlier and sticks around long into the evening. The water becomes bearable and little bugs you forgot about start reappearing. Strawberry stands start popping up, watermelons are sweeter, schoolwork decreases while airfares rise. I pack away my pants and sweaters, leaving only bikinis in my drawers. If there was ever a hint of summer in my wardrobe it would be the sudden obsession and overabundance of rompers and overalls. This romper is one of the many you will find in my closet and see me wearing all throughout the summer. Perfect for a skate to the beach, coverup over your bikini, and can be worn at all the summer festivals and concerts you’ll find yourself attending. I like to think that summer is a romper’s best friend.

Venice is one of those places that no matter how many times you visit you will never get tired of it. There are always new street vendors, designers, wall art, and vegan cafes to explore. I visited this fun little city this past week and loved cruising around, eating good food, buying new clothes, and posing next to the cool signs and art. These Billabong pants are by far the coolest piece of clothing I have ever owned. They are perfect for a wild child like me and go great with a crop top… and yes stripes were meant to be paired with shiny pants. I got so many compliments on this outfit while running around Venice, I guess pants this cool were meant to be worn on the streets of the coolest city around.
