In the world of booty, butt, and derriér improvement obsessions, there are two go-to moves that will, in fact help out the cause. They are nothing new or groundbreaking and you don’t need to purchase some Brazilian butt lift DVD. If there’s one sport that’s close to my heart, it’s stand up paddleboarding. It relaxes me, is soothing, is like taking an early morning walk on water, helped me get back in the water regularly after I moved away from Hawaii, is a great time to be quiet, and (finally) is just really peaceful. Unless it’s super windy. I love how it gets people on the water who are, or have been landlocked, gets people who are scared of the water somewhat in the water, and is something you can now do all over the globe. “I like to shoot in the water as much as I can, the angles that you are able to capture in the water are second to none. Whether shooting fisheye or a longer lens in the water, angles can make or break a great photo just like with anything in photography. My favorite to shoot in water is a fisheye lens and with the surf photography market flooded with fisheye photos there are ways to differentiate your style.” (more…)
As great as new year’s resolutions can be. 95% of us are setting ourselves up of failure. I mean it would be awesome if we could all lose 10 lbs, volunteer more, start an animal shelter, go on a dream vacation, eat 100% organic, and start an etsy store. Bravo to anyone who can achieve all that. I’d love some tips. But I am all about the baby steps. Deciding to make little decisions every day that help to achieve a big goal. Yeah, choosing to drink Green Tea instead of a Big Gulp on Friday afternoons might not seem like a glamorous thing to talk about, but it’s little things like that that make a difference. (more…)
