SWELL took a quick trip to the Billabong Merchandise & Design dept to meet the Brother-Sister team behind this radical new of tropical tee in the August  SWELL Catalog

SWELL: Ryan, what’s your role in the Billabong M&D team?

RM: I’m a Senior In-House Artist for Billabong USA. Among various creative duties, I primarily design graphics and artwork for the Men’s tee shirt line, working everyday with type, illustration and graphic design. Ryan Craig Wins 2014 Follow the Light Award Event Photos from the Most Prestigious Award in Surf Photography

Happy Days lie ahead for Ryan “Chachi” Craig, winner of the 9th annual Follow the Light Foundation Awards in memory of Larry “Flame” Moore. The 32 yr old Santa Cruz photog cracked the final 5 a few times since 2008 and now joins past winners club of legendary lensmen like Burkard, Glaser, Maasen and more.

The epic event was followed by a typical US Open Afterparty at the pope’s living room, the Surfing Magazine Oasis of insanity. Shots, see-throughs, cervezas and the eventual late night eats… Chachi killed it! (more…)
