Whenever I see the term bikini body, and all of this buzz about bikini body workouts, bikini body diets, and bikini body secrets, I get a bit concerned. Why does the word bikini get so much attention? Shouldn’t you workout, be active, and take care of your body, no matter what you are wearing? Well you should. If your daily outfit is jeans and a tee, or your favorite comfy sweats, or if you are more of a one piece connoisseur and rarely ever put on a bikini, you should take care of your body. (more…)

A Slice of Life | De-stress Guest Series by Stephanie Schechter

There has hardly been a time when I went surfing in less than ideal conditions and felt worse than before I went. No matter how tired you are or how many excuses you have, just getting in the water will recharge you and make you happy you went after all. Regardless of conditions, the ocean has a way of supporting us, so do what you gotta do, but don’t forget to get wet somewhere along the way.

I just got back from a trip that involved over 22 hours of in air flying time, each way. And what’s one of the first things I did when I got home? Started thinking of where I want to travel next.

There’s just something about traveling somewhere new, whether it’s within driving distance, or across the globe in a country where you don’t even write in the same alphabet, that is invigorating, exhilarating, inspiring, and educational. This is a combo that is quite addicting. In a great way. (more…)
