We’re lucky to be alive. The riot police were called to our offices this morning to contain the swarms of customers who were shivving each other over the new eco-friendly Wolfmother boardshort from Billabong. No that we blame them, because as far as high-performance surf trunks go these are in a class of their own. Okay so maybe the machetes and broken beer bottles were overkill, but the angry mass made a good point: Global warming is no laughing matter. And when the surf and music industries combine it’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. (And it’s even more of a beautiful thing that the inseam is a manly 21″ and not 18″ like some of those wussy retro trunks…but we digress.) Made entirely from recycled polyester suede and featuring an all-over Wolfmother print with a large logo and art screen at the right side, it’s already got our unicorn revved and ready to fly.
