New Boardshort Technology: Imperial Motion “Tight & Right”

The new Imperial Motion Boardshorts are making waves with a hybrid technology that dug into pop’s closet for inspiration. It’s the Tight & Right waistband: fusing the functionality of the drawstring trunks of the 80′s with the kook-less look of a traditional boardshort. Ever try on a piece of clothing and though, “Wow, this fits juuust right!”? If that gets you stoked, these babies are right up your alley. The magic begins with the drawstring. Unlike with other boardies, it goes all the way through the waistband, allowing you to cinch them any way you want. Just hitting the surf? Tighten up and ride hard. Scarf one too many fish tacos? Let ’em out so your belly can breathe. There’s even a stretchy panel in the fly to ease the transition. IM calls the drawstring approach “Tight & Right.” All we know is, it works… so duck diving under heavy sets won’t result in an upper-cheek sunburn. Check out new Imperial Motion boardshorts at Swell.

Serving It Up Cinco De Mayo Style

gringo

When it comes to Cinco de Mayo celebrations Swell leads the charge. Which is fitting considering today actually honors a significant battle in which Mexico triumphed over French invasion in 1862. Many folks mistakingly believe that the 5th of May is Mexico’s Independence Day, which is instead celebrated on September 16. See, shopping with Swell makes you smarter and more attractive. Check out the rest of our Mexican-inspired gear here.

As Seen in Cosmopolitan Magazine: L Space Bikini

cosmo

Not only does the Cosmo staff know how to get a tasty beverage named after their mag, they also seem to be at the top when it comes to spotting figure and fashion-friendly swimwear. This month’s issue features a spread on bikinis for “curvy butts” that highlights the L Space Geo Bondi Bikini. According to Cosmo, this sultry bikini is a slam dunk for your fashionable ba-dunk-a-dunk. Add that to glam D-shaped gold rings and a jewel-encrusted print, and you’ve got a bikini that’s sure to be a better friend to girls’ curves than the blue jean. The best feature of this bikini is that it offers a wide seat coverage without covering the lower part of the seat (think cheeky boy short style back, with a regular front). What does this mean? A sexier, more flattering cut than a full-coverage bottom. Which means no slouchy, wet diaper look that comes with a full bottom. L Space bikinis are made to mix-and-match, so pair it with the Geo Bondi Twist Bandeau for a flirty look, or with a solid top, like the L Space Twister Top, for an updated and fun twist. For more of this D-ring style check out L Space Swim on Swell. Get it now, or you might get left behind!
