Photo Tip of the Week from photo contributor, Kelsey Finn…
When taking photos of a person underwater, tell your model not to hold back on expressiveness! Sometimes they may feel goofy doing a certain pose, but the more exaggerated the motion, the more dramatic the photo will turn out.
I am always in need of the perfect pant. A pant that makes you feel as if you never stepped out of your pajamas. Ones that can withstand saltwater, wet sand, and an occasional spilled acai bowl. Pants that you can wear around the campfire or pull out of your gym bag when you forget your yoga pants. Pants that are best friends with your flower crowns and can be worn with just a simple bikini. RVCA did it right with these embroidered beach pants. With their comfortable fit and bohemian details, I love wearing these perfect pants just about everywhere.

San Diego Guide, Part II: Get Your Kicks at Raglan Public House, OB A Guide to the Best Of SD by Guest Blogger, Dustin Towery
San Diego is home to some sweet beaches, burgers, and craft beers. Put them all together in one of SD’s most eclectic beach towns and you’ll be walking among the local OBetians at Raglan Public House. This New Zealand inspired spot boasts a line up of burgers and brews from NZ serving the only organic and grass fed beef in SD, kumara fries, and twenty four rotating beers on tap. On any given night you’ll be hanging out with the locals and enjoying a cold one with the grazing sheep on the walls. Just blocks from the waves and a skip from the pier this gem is the heart of an SD life.
Oh, and the kicker: anything goes in OB, really. This little beach town is home to the surfers, the skaters, the homeless dwellers, the hippies, the college kids, the families, and the fashionistas.
