A Slice of Life: Meditation Gardens

swamis1
I’ve grown up surfing at the famous Swamis, known for its reeling rights, beautiful cliffs, and of course – the Self Realization Fellowship (hence the name, Swamis). The SRF welcomes people of any religion, faith, or belief system to walk through the Encinitas temple’s beautiful meditation garden. The garden is intended to be a place where guests can cleanse their minds of stress and worry, while taking the time to sit and enjoy some peaceful self-reflection. Plus, there’s a pretty great view of Swamis and Boneyards – just in case you want to check the surf while meditating.

A Slice Of Life | No Budge Bikini: L*SPACE

SWELL 2
Finding a bikini that actually stays on during outdoor activities is a challenge no matter what… but finding one that is also CUTE is even harder. Fortunately, L*SPACE has created what I like to call the perfect no-budge bikini. The three strap back top is the perfect combo of fashion and function, and its stylish design works perfectly as a bralette with an open back tank or dress. The itsy bottom, for those who dare to bare, is ideal for tanning, and stays on in even the roughest of surf! This suit can really do no wrong, especially because its flattering seamless style looks great on every girl. No bulges or bumps… and in any activity, no budge!

Slice of Life | Beach Hair Care

Beach Hair
How to get the perfect beach waves hair:

1. go to the beach
2. dip your head in the ocean.
3. make sure to whip it and flip it around!
4. repeat steps 1-3 daily.

But seriously – I often get the question, “Your hair is so long – how do you keep it healthy?” (more…)
