Photo Tip: Kelsey Finn

The Ballerin645a
Photo Tip of the Week from photo contributor, Kelsey Finn…
Get creative! You don’t have to wear a bikini or boardshorts underwater. Try out an aloha shirt for a guy or a flowy skirt on a lady. When you want to step up your creativity grab some props! My personal favorite is a sarong or long, sheer piece of fabric. It adds a little texture and cool movement in my photos. (But please be safe! Only wear light clothing that won’t hinder your movement.)

DIY: Driftwood Hangers

diy-wood-hanger
We know – hangers – not that exciting. But add some flair, and we’re all on board…if you get the drift. A slightly elevated hanger lets you display pieces outside of the closet (think vintage heirlooms or even tomorrow’s outfit) and makes a beachy display for necklaces, bracelets or scarves. They’re also a great gift idea for the style obsessed and/or the hard to shop for.
Read on for the 2-minute how-to.
