SDSU SWELL Fashion Show


Brandon Carney, our ambassador at San Diego State, held a fashion show on-campus at Scripps Cottage for 40+ fashion-forward students. After partnering with Brightside Network Media and the SDSU Surf Team, Brandon promoted the event all over campus, social media and in Greek life circles. SWELL Sessions Part II: The So So Glos

New York-based band The So So Glos recently stopped by the SWELL studios in the middle of their tour with Diarrhea Planet to play for the SWELL team and enjoy some time in Orange County. In this SWELL Session, the band strips down and plays an acoustic version of the bouncy “Xanax” for the SWELL crew.

A SWELL Exclusive – Behind the Scenes of Pepper’s Self-Titled Album, Part III

In the third and final installment of SWELL’s exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Pepper’s new self-titled album, we get to hear the band discuss the things that made this album special to them. Bringing it producer Matt Wallace, doing some co-songwriting and trusting themselves and their bond as a band were all key ingredients to making new music for the first time in five years.

A SWELL Exclusive – Behind the Scenes of Pepper’s Self-Titled Album, Part II

In Part II of SWELL’s exclusive three-part, behind the scenes series, we hear Pepper discussing the grind of releasing album after album and playing show after show, only to feel drained and uninspired. After a three year break, the band came back feeling more creative and more inspired than ever and they say that’s apparent on their new, self-titled album. Whether it’s John Bonham-esque drums, crisper sounds or just a more focused approach, this new album illustrates a noticeable growth in Pepper’s musical career.
