Abs are pretty much a result of overall fitness, nutrition and health, and as much as we wish we could, we can’t crunch our way to the abs of our dreams. (Side note; doing hundreds of crunches every day is not good for your back.) The best thing to do is treat your whole body well, have good posture, and opt for a salad or grilled chicken and veggies…instead of a burger and fries (or chicken fingers, or pizza, or my favorite…queso dip)
And FYI, good abs (just like our bodies) come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. We aren’t all going to look like the girl with the crazy ripped six pack who posts a picture of herself in a sports bra every time she goes to the bathroom at the gym. (Yes, that’s a pet peeve.)
Eat clean, work out, stop obsessing, and give those abs (and yourself) a break.
