Smile. Sunshine is good for your teeth.
Well, who knows if it’s scientifically proven to be good for your teeth. Hey maybe it bleaches them. But smiling is good four your soul, which is good for your health, which pertains to your overall body, which includes your teeth.
There you go.
So, if you aren’t smiling that regularly, here’s a few incentives on why your should incorporating it into your daily life as much as possible.
Endorphins are released when you smile.
Endorphins make us feel happier and less stressed.
When the release of endorphins is increased, the stress hormone cortisol is reduced. (Cortisol = no bueno).
Laughing expands the lungs, stretches muscles in your body and stimulates homeostasis. (AKA keeps everything in balance).
A good laugh can be an effective way to release emotions.
Smiling is an attractive expression, which is more likely to draw people towards you, rather than push them away.
A happy, positive expression rocks, and can help out in many situations in life.
So get out there and smile.
