I have always been inspired by style icons like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller. The way in which they make basic styles look flawless is nothing short of brilliant. Both Sienna and Kate put together outfits made up of simple basics like tees, jeans, or sweaters and add detailed shoes like moccasins, animal print boots, or even a fur coat to add their own unique look to the basics style. I personally find myself doing this with almost every piece in my wardrobe…

For this outfit I started out with some basic denim overalls, a long sleeve tee, and some leather high tops. My “wild” piece I chose to add was a faux fur coat. This bold long sleeve tee made this outfit all the more merrier as it felt and acted as a basic top, but added a splash of graffiti like color to this chic tomboy look. When you start with bold basics you can always find new ways to rotate them into your outfits without ever getting tired of them.
