DIY: Lace Trim Tank

di-tank
Summer crops are fun…until it turns into Fall, at which time they become a little less fun. Transition your tanks from Summer to Fall, from casual to slightly more classy, or from a tank to a tunic by adding a touch of lace to the bottom. Read on for the how-to…materials
MATERIALS:
* Tank (pictured above: SWELL Martini Tank)
* Lace (style pictured above is a cotton “Venice” lace)
* Needle + Thread (or liquid stitch if you’re pressed for time)

HOW-TO:
* STEP 1: Measure the hem of your tank, then cut a piece of lace to fit. Allow an extra 1″, just in case.
* STEP 2: Sew it on.

Easy. Because this tank was longer to begin with, the addition of the lace turned it into a tunic that I’d rock to the beach or out with leggings/skinny jeans.
